I started at Camp Fire in January of 2018 and I am really excited to find a career which engages my love for leadership and my passion for inclusion and youth! I am from Oregon, Ohio but currently reside in Port Clinton, Ohio with my husband of 8 years and our two daughters. Our daughters absolutely love coming to Camp Fire and experiencing the opportunities provided on campus! My career journey did not start by inspiring to become a non-profit leader, but events in life led me to find my own “spark” in the disability rights field, working for the State of Ohio and now helping youth find their purpose and passion through nature! I have my undergraduate from The Ohio State University and my Master of Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University. The diverse mindset I have gained from my 15 years in Non-profit leadership has allowed me to drive Camp Fire to the next level and I look forward to continued growth here at Misty Meadows!

WOHELO. My name is Megan Wonderly. I’m the admin assistant here at Camp Fire. I have been involved with Camp Fire in one way or another most of my life. My mother was a Camp Fire girl and went to Camp Yukita then went on to be my Camp Fire leader. I then went on to be my daughters leader also.. I have worked with children in many different capacity for over 15 years, and my favorite sport is basketball. I am a huge fan of Duke University basketball. I was able to live out one of my dreams this year by going to watch Duke play at Cameron Indoor Stadium!

I have been married to my husband Zachary for 20 years. We have four awesome children including; our 20 year old twins Briggs and Blair, our only boy Zachary Jr. better know has Buddy, and our baby Bernadette who is a sophomore at SJCC. Blair and Zachary attend Franciscan University and Briggs attends Terra State University. Over the years as a family we attended many sporting events. We also enjoy camping together. There is nothing that taste like a dinner cooked over a campfire! I could not ask for a better place to work. Not only is it a great job but I get to help children to find their Spark. There is nothing like the look on a child’s face when they find their Spark! That is why we do what we do.
